Pam Lynch was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick on September 27, 2010 representing the riding of Fredericton-Fort Nashwaak. She is a Progressive Conservative MLA. She is very honoured to be the first female MLA to be elected in the City of Fredericton. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Crown Corporations and the Standing Committee on Law Amendments. Pam was appointed Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Environment, responsible for the Women’s Equality Branch in 2010. Born in Kingsclear, New Brunswick, Pam is a long-time resident of the City of Fredericton. A graduate of Fredericton High, she went to work for the New Brunswick Civil Service with the Department of Transportation and then Department of Justice, Provincial Court. In 1991 Ms. Lynch started a legal services business which thrived through dedication and a reputation built on excellence in customer service. As a self-employed business woman, she understands the importance of working hard to achieve success. Ms. Lynch has a long history of helping people and giving back to her community. She has been a volunteer on many committees, boards and charitable organizations including: Fredericton Women’s Executive, York Care Centre, past Board Member Fredericton Transition House, past Board Member Fredericton Chamber of Commerce, Wine & Food Fest – Canadian Diabetes Association, Feast In The Field – Canadian Paraplegic Association, Fredericton 150 Anniversary Gala Ball, Lobster On The Lawn – Canadian Red Cross, Dinner & Auction – Canadian Red Cross, Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, Ambassador – NB Association For Community Living. Her hobbies include politics, world events, fitness, knitting, reading and volunteering. Ms. Lynch is married to Pat and they have two dogs Coco and Corey.
